If it does expire, this will allow others to have a crack at purchasing the name and taking it from you. Then you will have to negotiate to get it back or change your site for a new name. There are no guarantees in life and getting the perfect domain is no exception. The best thing to do is to follow this simple guide and be creative. The important thing is to be happy with whatever domain name that you select.
