What Happens When My Domain Expires?

A domain that has been expired for more than 30 and less than 60 days is in the Redemption Grace Period. This means that ICANN, the central domain authority, assesses it a $50 redemption fee in addition to the usual yearly fee in order to get it renewed.
The redemption fee cannot be waived under any circumstances. Renewals after 30 days must be handled by one of our administrators.

To request a domain renewal from the Redemption Grace Period via email, please log into your Account Manager and select "Order Service," then "Reactivate Account."

A domain that has been expired for more than 60 days cannot be renewed. After 65 days the domain is released and is available to be purchased again.
